Good Morning Steve: Dan & I saw a great TV show on Ch. 8 in Tampa on Saturday evening. As you know, it was a show about Cuba which featured you in it. We caught it by chance and had some friends here who watched it with us. You looked great and did a fine job of talking about traveling in Havana. To whom it may concern: Steve Rupert made it possible for us to be in situations where we could interact with Cubans on their own turf. Except for one day, ours was not the ‘canned’ or over programmed trip that often happens with group travel. The meal our first night was a positive indication of what was to come. Finding our way to the old company town of Hershey and the Jardin nearby was a highlight as was interacting with our hostess at the bed and breakfast and with the vendors at the Saturday market on the Prado. Dear Steve, It’s been two years since our Cuban travels with you.  It was so remarkable, fun, inspirational and educational. We still talk about it often. Hi Steve, I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you again how much I enjoyed the trip to Cuba with you in 2011. It was everything I had hoped for and more. I particularly enjoyed the lodging you arranged for me in a private home. My hosts, Margarita and Victoria really made me feel welcome. We exchanged stories about our homelands and families the whole week I was there.  They taught me some Spanish and I taught them some English.  The tropical fruits they served at breakfast were delicious.
